ABOUT

January 1982

I had the fortune of growing up in the 80's/90's (Ontario, Canada) where distractions revolved around Nintendo, electric guitar, dial up internet, camcorders and creating art because there was just so much more time in the day.

I was 10 years old when my older brother Adrian tossed a cassette tape at my chest and said " don't be scared, but listen to this 3 times fully through "

The tape read Black Sabbath - We Sold Our Souls For Rock And Roll

I immediately fell in love with the darkened madness of metal, and begged my mother for a bass guitar to learn Geezer Butlers sweeping lines.

At 12 years old, a couple of my close friends formed a band called S.O.S. ( Save our Souls )
We made the decision to play no cover songs and focus only on original pieces. Was it terrible? Yes.

But, this idealism shaped how i would look at art for the rest of my life.
We created music to create music. It didn't matter how shit it was, it was ours.

The next 30 years would take me around many bars, dives, festivals and touring through North America  with Revival Dear and Royalfuzz.

Currently my bands include The Killer Party and Sheriff McCabe & The Lonesome Fever in Los Angeles California.

I am obsessed with guitars, avocado, words, Lauren, palm tress and Bob Dylan.

That's about me.
